With the World Cup happening all around us its been quite difficult to be productive in an office based in the heart of Cape Town! With vuvuzelas being blown about every match day, the vibe sneeks its way in through our doors and yanks us out to join in the party. As we reach the business end of the tournament, we’re already looking back at all the fun we’ve had over the past couple of weeks. From the matches where the rain did nothing to stop the “gees” to the fun and excitement that was shared when Bafana Bafana drew with Mexico followed by the opening Cape Town game of France vs Uruguay. The fan walk has proved to be quite the party starter too! All our World Cup excursions have involved taking a walk down the forever buzzing Long Street and then over the new foot bridge at Buitengracht and then onto the magical Cape Town Stadium. With plenty more exciting matches to come – divisions have been drawn in the office as to who to support – Germany, Spain, Argentina, Brazil and even BaGhana BaGhana. None the less, South Africans can be proud for a tournement that has been nothing but fun and excitement from start – and surely – to the finish!
